A Time to Reboot, the second book in the Stony Creek series, is near completion with a September date of publication. This has been a fun book to write, revisiting old friends and making new ones. Will post more as the publish date nears.

Hey everyone...Stony Creek Diner is finally alive and well after two long years of writing it. I had a difficult time with the final chapter. I wasn't sure whether I didn't want the story to end or whether my characters refused to leave.
This book was such fun to write, a lot of research, too, so I learned much while attempting to put words to paper. I love my characters, most of them, and each one had their own way of making this a very good book, an easy read, which I hope will make ...Read Full Post »

Recently scammers, spammers, hackers, and whomever have been coming to this site uninvited. I'm not sure how they've found the website, but they have. I don't want to shut it down, but I will if necessary. I was hoping that this would be a fun place to visit and to keep you abreast of how the book is doing. BTW, it's doing very well as a matter of fact.
I find this invasion very annoying and frankly it makes me mad...Read Full Post »

The book is selling well and I'm pleased and encouraged about it. To see my lifelong dream coming true is so exciting.
I will be having a book signing in a few weeks at a local bookstore and will be interviewed by the local paper. The paper features a new author from The Villages each Sunday so soon it'll be me. I just had a hair cut, short, so want it to grow out a little before they take my picture. I'm not vain but this hair cut is short!
I've been b...Read Full Post »

I received a call from the publisher on Wednesday that the book is ready. This is a dream come true and I'm terribly excited. The process is as follows:
A first copy will be mailed to me for review. Once I accept it, then the rest of the books will be available...immediately to me, some to Amazon, and to iUniverse for purchase.
As soon as I review the book then I will let everyone know how they may purchase it; I'll be able to get my book signin...Read Full Post »

Patience is not one of my many virtues. I am trying to be patient, although not necessarily doing a snap up job of it, while waiting for my book, "Detours of the Heart" to be printed.
I emailed my publisher and my publishing "person" last week asking when the book will be ready and I'm still waiting for their response. It's funny, but when they want a response from me they expect it NOW! I have things to do; don't they know that?
I want to...Read Full Post »
